Every year July 26 is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas and today is the 15th anniver
sary of India's historic victory. Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the success of Operation Vijay. On this day, 26 July 1999. On 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' the nation remembers the soldiers who laid down their lives in the cold desert of Ladakh. India salutes these brave martyrs.
